What do the O'Hares do on a "break"? Fix things.

The "BEFORE". Our kitchen on the day we moved in. Since then we have bought new appliances, put in new counter tops, stripped wall paper, painted, refinished the cabinets, and put in new floors. So excited to show off the final picture:).
It's my third day of winter break and I'm currently curled up on the upstairs couch watching LOST and pretending to organize the guest room closet. Our latest house project went surprisingly fast; we decided to redo the kitchen flooring Friday night. And by we I mean Keith:). I love his investment in the house but it seems like we are always destroying and rebuilding. I have come to think he actually loves doing house projects as much as I secretly love doing school projects. We're just two geeks at heart I suppose:).
Anyhoo, the floor is finished (pictures to come) and our little "fixer upper" is that much closer to being our home, rather than just a house we moved into. Despite it's lack of storage, I really adore this townhouse and I think we picked the perfect place to start our little family of three (Tate being the "three" of course).
Tonight we had the Kaemmerlens over for dinner. We are so excited for their big move but very sad that we won't be in the same state anymore. Just as you meet and start to know a cool family it seems they have to move. Keith has a fun time teasing little Isabelle and calling her a "veggie-licker":). We wish them safe travels and hope to get out to Tennessee to visit!
Back to LOST....and "cleaning".
